Our policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.
Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.

There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted (if applicable)
- Book with obvious signs of use
- DVD that has been opened
- Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error
- Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.

If you are shipping an item over £75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.


Our aim at 4Down is to help you as the riders resolve any problem swiftly and efficiently. We understand that accidents can happen and part of our objective is to have all our customers back on their bikes as quickly as possible.

How do I submit a claim?
If you have a claim please make sure you provide us with the all the required information listed via email to This is the fastest and most convenient way for you to submit and us to process your claim.

You will receive a confirmation e-mail straight away to the e-mail address supplied, check your junk box first and if you did not receive this it means you have entered your e-mail address incorrectly, and we will not be able to contact you, so you will need to re-submit your claim.


  • Warranty of product, valid to the original owner only
  • Proof of purchase must be supplied showing the date of purchase
  • A damaged product must be returned for a claim to be processed
  • Costs in returning damaged products is down to the returnee


 Any claims must be submitted with the following details:

  • Full product photo
  • Detailed photo of damaged area
  • Serial number (on frames)
  • Copy of original receipt/invoice

  • 6 Months on a frame (against breaks)
  • 3 Months on parts (against breaks)
  • 30 Days against paint blemishes and defects

  • 1 year free replacement (against breaks)
  • 30 Days against paint blemishes and defects
  • When the warranty period has expired, as a good will gesture we will offer to replace the damaged part with a brand new one at a discounted rate.

Note: Clear and translucent (trans) paints can show surface oxidation on cro-mo parts. This oxidation will not compromise the structural integrity of the part during its normal lifespan and is not considered a defect. However, if you do not want to see surface oxidation, please consider a chrome plated part or one painted in a solid colour.
